Well, the straightforward answer to this is No. And then comes the big question, Can you save Sayori? It is a serious and heartbreaking scene and might leave the player wondering what might have been the reason for the death of Sayori. At the end of the first Act, the player gets to visit Sayori in her home and finds out that she hung herself. This occurrence in the game seems to come out of nowhere and can hit the player with a ton of bricks. One of the disturbing surprises in the Doki Doki Literature club plus is the death of Sayori.
